Celts and Celtic Mythology

Celtic Mythology has always fascinated me. From an early age we were taught the famous tales about the Dagda, and heroes such as Fionn Mac Cumhaill and Cuchulainn. We learned of arduous journeys and battles against the odds – and often survival against the odds.

The oldest set of myths from the Heroic Age is found from the early medieval period of ancient Ireland.
